The Elemental Duel offers a unique twist on traditional battles in Dreambound Explorers. Unlike standard duels, where you challenge any player of your choosing, the Elemental Duel comes with specific criteria. To initiate this type of duel, you must challenge someone who has not only conquered level 25 of the /dream command but also claimed one of the coveted elemental roles: Earth Guild, Fire Guild, Water Guild, or Air Guild.

In the Elemental Duel, the battle begins with each player starting at 1000 health points. Players alternate turns to choose their attack and defense moves, with the first attacker selected randomly. Once both players have chosen their initial attack and block, the duel unfolds in a series of strategic exchanges. The defender then has the opportunity to counterattack, and the cycle of attack and block continues until one player successfully depletes their opponent’s health.

There are four distinct attacks and four blocks available, each corresponding to one of the four elemental forces: Earth, Fire, Water, and Air. Each elemental block is designed to counter specific types of attacks by mitigating a certain percentage of the damage. Here is the detailed breakdown of how each element interacts with the others in terms of damage and defense:

1. Fire Attack

   • Water Block - Blocks 100% of the damage

   • Fire Block- Blocks 75% of the damage

   • Air Block- Blocks 50% of the damage

   • Earth Block- Blocks 0% of the damage

2. Water Attack

   • Earth Block- Blocks 100% of the damage

   • Water Block- Blocks 75% of the damage

   • Fire Block- Blocks 50% of the damage

   • Air Block- Blocks 0% of the damage

3. Earth Attack

   • Air Block- Blocks 100% of the damage

   • Earth Block- Blocks 75% of the damage

   • Water Block- Blocks 50% of the damage

   • Fire Block- Blocks 0% of the damage

4. Air Attack

   • Fire Block- Blocks 100% of the damage

   • Air Block- Blocks 75% of the damage

   • Earth Block- Blocks 50% of the damage

   • Water Block- Blocks 0% of the damage
